Maybe like this: I know what makes entrepreneurs tick. Many years ago, I led my parents’ company through various restructuring processes, from a mass-production company to a specialist for the commission production of front veneers. During more than 20 years of managing the company, I have strategically realigned the business and turned it into an internationally operating and successful company. Furthermore, working many years as managing director has given me a profound knowledge of the challenging day-to-day business in a medium-sized company.

The international economic and financial crisis of 2008 and 2009 showed me how, even in a state of emergency, one can still act patiently and with foresight instead of panicking: After two of my larger customers were forced to give up, I decided in 2011 to close my business in a planned fashion. Then, first, I temporarily took over sales for two veneer companies as a key account, focusing on Switzerland, France, and Benelux, before becoming self-employed myself again. Until 2016, I continued to serve on the board of the Initiative Furnier + Natur e.V., which I co-founded in 1996. (IFN). Through the association’s work, my extensive network in the woodworking industry has continued to grow.

Since 2015, I have been working as Alexandra Kiefer, management consulting and strategic sales planning, in Germany and beyond. I still build on the large network of experts that I have built up over all these years in a wide variety of industries in working for my clients today.
